Terms

Project Lab is a website where the operator documents projects — personal, hobby, experimental and professional. It shows what is being built, what has been finished, and which projects can be supported. Project Lab itself is not an online shop and does not process product or service purchases. Some projects presented on Project Lab may be available as products or services through separate external websites operated by the operator.

Project descriptions, statuses, images, funding figures and updates are provided for information. They reflect work in progress and may change or be delayed. Nothing on the site is a commitment that a particular project will be completed, completed by a certain date, or produce a particular result.

• Current projects — being worked on now (for example the DIY 3D Scanner and the Android Car Head Unit).
• Realized projects — finished and working (for example the ESP32 CAN Bus Sniffer and the 3D Print Monitoring System). A realized project may also be a product available elsewhere.
• Support projects — projects that can receive voluntary financial support towards a stated target, tracked separately per project.

“Support this project” lets you make a voluntary financial contribution towards a specific project because you would like to see it move forward. Support is optional. Contributions are not refundable except where required by law, and a project’s target is an aim, not a promise. This does not limit any mandatory rights or remedies that may apply under applicable law.

Project Lab makes no claim about the tax or accounting treatment of support payments. It does not describe them as donations, gifts, tips or as tax-free, and it does not offer tax deductions to supporters.

• Support — a voluntary contribution to help a project. No product, service, licence or reward is provided in return unless something specific is explicitly offered for that project.
• Purchase — a separate transaction for a product or service, made on the relevant external website under its own terms. Project Lab does not sell anything.

Support payments are handled by Ko-fi. When you continue to Ko-fi you leave Project Lab and are subject to Ko-fi’s terms and privacy practices. Ko-fi and its payment providers process the payment. Project Lab does not operate its own payment checkout and does not collect or store full payment card details.

Project Lab links to independent websites. In particular, the ESP32 CAN Bus Sniffer is a separate product with its own website (esp32canbus.pages.dev), which handles its own sales, payment processing, licensing, terms and customer data. Project Lab only links to it. Other linked sites (Ko-fi, Instagram, YouTube) are likewise governed by their own terms.

After a confirmed support payment you may have an entry on the Project Wall. You choose whether to appear with a public name, a nickname, or anonymously, and whether to leave a short public message. Do not submit anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and do not include other people’s personal data. Email addresses are never shown on the wall.

Messages may be reviewed before publication and may be edited, declined or removed. An entry may also be removed later at the operator’s discretion or at your request. Ask via upit.ifix@gmail.com.

The text, images, designs and code of the Project Lab website belong to the operator unless stated otherwise, and are provided for viewing on the site. Some projects are open source and are published separately under their own licences; the presence of a project on this site does not grant any licence to its designs, firmware or source. By submitting a Project Wall message you allow it to be displayed on the site.

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website, from reliance on project information, or from the services of external platforms and linked websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. These terms are governed by Croatian law.
